Comintec - from 1989 presents OMC'S line (Company founded in 1967) of Torque limiter safety devices and Power Transmission components. These products with an elevated technological content, offer a high degree of protection.They are used in an increasing number of applications in a variety of fields, reducing machine down time and thus increasing productivity. DSF -DSF/ EX Friction safety device

-Compact and balanced edge - free group with precision coupling of the parts. -Available in compact and simplified versions with some disks in stainless steel material on request for humid environment.

DSF/SI Intervention signalling model withautomatic re-engage

-Overload signal using an electrical-mechanical switch which acts as an appropriate ring. -Immediate re-start of the system after the cause of overload has been removed.

DSF/TF/AP Friction safety device pneumatic drive model

-Maintenance free up to the complete wear of friction rings. -Tension function by the constant monitoring of the load force.

DSF/EX/TAC/PR-V Model with axial chain transmission (assemblage on the fast shaft between motor and reducer).

-Assemblage between motor and reducer; smaller limiter for the same torque transmitted. -Operational aluminium spacer to house the limiter, with an inspection door to be used also for torque adjustment.

DSS - Balls safety device

-Top sensitivity and accuracy in calibration and keeping of the disengagment torque. -Also available with round and square section coil springs for improved calibration accuracy and decreased residual torque ..../CM (minimum torque).

DSR/F Timing rollers safety device

-Stable transmission also in the presence of vibrations or small torque changes with re-engagement every 360 degrees. -Different torque in the two directions of rotation (model DSR/F/SMO); timing kept also in transmissions with ratio other than 1 (model DSR/F/AM).

DSR/F/RF Timing rollers safety device free rotation

-Free rotation after the overload induced disengagement till the inertial forces go down to zero. -Simple manual re-engagement by the operators intervention on the relevant conical ring.

DSR/F/PI Phase advancer model for intermittent drive unit

- Dimensions and characteristics (torque, keying, disengagement rotations) suitable to various models of intermittent drive units available in the market. -Transmission of alternate backlash-free motion by conical ring locking assemblies.

DSR/F/AP Timing roller safety device, pneumatic operated timing

Can be used as a torque limiter and/or for transmission engagement-disengagement; it can be controlled also through PLC by a proportional valve. -Torque variation through pressure adjuster, also when the machine is moving.

DSA/DTC Axial safety device, for the disengagement of compression traction

-Total protection from linear overload (both in thrust and in traction), with equal or different force calibration (up to 7000N) in the two directions with automatic re-engagement. - - Possible (axial or radical) assemblage of either an inductive proximity sensor or a stop electromechanical micro-switch.
